PREAMBLE
This Privacy Policy is provided exclusively for the website www.italywego.org and does not apply to other websites that may be consulted through external links.
It is intended as information notice pursuant to Article 13 of the applicable legislation for users who interact with the site and complies with Recommendation No. 2/2001 on minimum requirements for the online collection of personal data in the European Union, adopted on 17 May 2001 by the Article 29 Working Party.

Your personal data will therefore be processed in accordance with the legislative provisions in force and the confidentiality obligations set forth therein.

PERSONAL DATA SUBJECT TO PROCESSING
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server’s response (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment.
These data are used solely for the purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning, and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain liability in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site. Except for this possibility, web contact data currently do not persist for more than seven days.

METHODS AND PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING
Personal data provided by the user through the Site will be processed for the following purposes:
a) purposes related to the performance of a contract to which the user is a party or to the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken at their request (e.g., requests for information via the “Contact Us” form);
b) to allow online applications through the site;
c) purposes related to sending newsletters, informational material, or other communications, for which the prior and explicit consent of users is required;
d) statistical research/analysis purposes on aggregate or anonymous data, without the possibility of identifying the user, aimed at measuring the Site’s functioning, traffic, and assessing usability and interest;
e) purposes related to fulfilling a legal obligation to which the Company is subject;
f) purposes necessary to ascertain, exercise, or defend a right in court or whenever judicial authorities exercise their jurisdictional functions.

LEGAL BASIS

The Company processes users’ optional data on the basis of consent, i.e., through the explicit approval of this privacy policy and in relation to the methods and purposes described.
The user is free to provide the personal data indicated in the request forms or in contacts to request the sending of newsletters, informational material, or other communications. Failure to provide them may make it impossible to obtain what is requested.

INFORMATION ON COOKIES
A “cookie” is a text file saved on the user’s computer when accessing a website, with the purpose of providing information every time the user returns to the same site. It is a kind of reminder of the visited web page.
With the cookie, the web server sends information to the user’s browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.), stored on the user’s computer, and will be read and updated each time the user returns to the site. In this way, the website can automatically adapt to the user.
During navigation, the user may also receive cookies from different sites (“third-party cookies”) set directly by the managers of those websites and used for the purposes and according to the methods defined by them.
Depending on their duration, cookies are distinguished into session cookies (temporary and automatically deleted at the end of the browsing session when the browser is closed) and persistent cookies (those stored on the terminal until their expiry or deletion by the user).
Based on their function and purpose of use, cookies can be divided into technical cookies and profiling cookies.

TECHNICAL COOKIES
Some cookies are used to perform computer authentication, session monitoring, and storage of specific information about users accessing a web page. These so-called technical cookies are often essential to allow navigation on a website and use all its features. The use of technical cookies does not require the user’s consent. Analytics cookies also fall into this category. These are cookies that collect information about how a user uses a website and allow its functioning to be improved. For example, analytics cookies show which pages are most frequently visited, help identify recurring usage patterns, and assist in understanding any difficulties the user encounters.

PROFILING COOKIES
Other cookies may be used to monitor and profile users while browsing, study their movements and web consultation or consumption habits (what they buy, what they read, etc.), also for the purpose of sending targeted and personalized advertising. In this case, we speak of profiling cookies. The use of such cookies requires the prior acquisition of the user’s free and informed consent pursuant to Art. 7 of EU Regulation 2016/679.

THIRD-PARTY COOKIES
It may also happen that a web page contains cookies from other sites and content in various elements hosted on the page itself (e.g., banner ads, images, videos, maps, or specific links to other domains). In other words, these cookies are set directly by website operators or servers other than this website. In these cases, we refer to so-called third-party cookies, which are usually used for profiling purposes. The use of these cookies requires the prior acquisition of the user’s free and informed consent.

TYPES OF COOKIES USED ON OUR SITE
We do not use cookies for the transmission of personal data, nor are persistent cookies of any kind used, or systems for tracking users. The use of session cookies is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration of the site. The session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other IT techniques that could potentially compromise the confidentiality of users’ browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal data identifying the user.
The site also allows the sending of the following third-party cookies. These cookies are not under our control; for more information, please refer to the privacy notices and consent forms of the third parties by clicking on the links provided.
To improve the website and understand which parts or elements are most appreciated by users, third-party Google Analytics cookies are used as an anonymous and aggregate analysis tool. These cookies are not under our control; for more information, please consult the notice provided by Google.

INTERACTIONS WITH SOCIAL NETWORKS AND EXTERNAL PLATFORMS
The site’s services allow interactions with social networks or other external platforms directly from the site’s pages. Interactions and acquired information are in any case subject to the user’s privacy settings for each social network. If an interaction service with social networks is installed, it is possible that, even if users do not use the service, it collects traffic data relating to the pages where it is installed.
To learn about the personal data collected, the place of processing, and all details, the user is invited to consult the privacy policies of the social networks involved (grouped under Meta Platforms).
The user can manage their cookie preferences through the features available in common browsers, which allow deleting/removing cookies (all or some) or changing browser settings to block the sending of cookies or limit it to specific sites. Therefore, it is possible to refuse the use of cookies by following the disablement procedure provided by your browser.
Below are the methods offered by the main browsers: Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari. For Google Analytics, you can disable it by downloading a specific browser plug-in.
For information on cookies stored on your device and to disable them individually, please refer to: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/le-tue-scelte
This privacy policy may be subject to changes over time – also related to the possible entry into force of new sector regulations, the updating or provision of new services, or technological innovations – therefore the user/visitor is invited to periodically consult this page.
